The original BMW E9 made its debut in 1968 as a nippy coupe that sustained Bavarian luxury with a touch of playfulness. The design of the car was unique, given the fact that it was Karmann responsible for the bodywork. What you see here was originally a 1971 2.8L 2800CS that has been transformed into its iconic 3.0CSL form thanks to its current owner, who is an avid car enthusiast.
