Plymouth is one of the oldest American automotive brands, with a rich history that can be traced back to 1928. Founded by Walter Chrysler, Plymouth was intended to be Chrysler Corporation’s low-cost brand in a burgeoning American auto market. However, it quickly transcended boundaries, giving us some greats like the Barracuda, Road Runner and more. Sadly, this great brand bid goodbye to us in June 2001.
