Jaguar is a British automaker that has been making luxury cars since 1935. Currently known as Jaguar Land Rover, the brand has produced some notable models such as the E-type which was voted ‘sexiest car’, the stately XJ luxury sedan, and the screaming F-Type roadster to name a few. In 1948, Jaguar introduced the Mark V as their luxury executive car in the form of a four-door saloon or two-door drophead coupe, and it ran for just three years before the Mark VII took over. This is a 1950 Jaguar Mark V Sedan from Pennsylvania with 52,000 miles on the odometer and reported to be all-original. Just 10,499 cars were produced worldwide, so this is indeed a rare cat to own. The Mark V is the first Jaguar with independent front suspension and hydraulic brakes, and the first from the brand to be offered with illuminating turn signals for the American market.
